Just a few days after Superstar Rajinikanth was honoured with India's highest award in the field of cinema - Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the actor returned to Chennai and on Thursday (October 28), he was suddenly rushed to the Kauvery hospital in Chennai.
As all of us were extremely worried as to why the actor was suddenly admitted to the hospital, the family had informed that he went for a routine check-up and is doing fine. However, there were several other reports as well that were doing heavy rounds in the social media.
Now, Ma. Subramanian, Minister for Health and Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu, has shared to the press that he has spoken to the actor’s family and they said that he was completely doing fine.
On the professional front, the Superstar is currently awaiting for the release of his upcoming much-awaited film, Annaatthe that is all set to hit the big screens on November 4th as Diwali treat for the fans. The film is helmed by Siva and is bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
