On 23rd June a meeting was chaired for talks between the representatives of Digital Cinema Provider platform Qube Cinema, Inc. and delegation of the Tamil Film Producers' Council (TFPC) that consisted of director K. Bharathiraja, producer T.G. Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films, S. Ve Shekar, K. Rajan, Sivasakthi Pandian and JSK Sathish Kumar. 

As a result of the discussion that was  approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu,a new set of regulations and rollbacks were brought out by the committee. As per the notice, from June 29 onwards, Producers are not required to pay Qube for the first three shows (including preview and censor shows). The producers who are in need of the aforementioned shows can copy their DCP into a hard disk from Qube at free cost.

Moreover, after July 12, the theatrical trailer of films that are running upto the duration of one minute can be screened in theatres at free cost. From August 1, shifting services are availed for the lifetime facility of QUBE.
