Recently, a team of producers led by T. Siva of Amma Creations named Tamil Film Producer’s Protection Team have announced that they will be contesting the Tamil Film Producers' Council Elections 2020-2022. The council is currently being headed by its incumbent President, actor Vishal, who is yet to announce his candidature for the upcoming election.
According to a press release, T. Siva will be contesting for the post of president and the following is the list of candidates who will be contending for important positions in the council: Thiru K. Muralidharan, Lakshmi Movie Makers – Treasurer
