Speaking about the start of her career, Tamannaah said “I was actually 15 when I made my debut. I did not have any acting exposure and since I’m from Bombay, I didn’t know how the South Indian Film Industry functioned. I actually didn’t know how to approach. It just happened. When the opportunity came, I just took it up.”

“I was not actually a trained actor. I was not trained in anything. I even got rejected in school plays. I did experimental theatre for a year in Mumbai. That was actually my first experience in performing in front of an audience.”

When asked about her experience of working with Thala Ajith, she said “Thala Ajith is a very simple person. He is not pretending to be humble or anything, but he is very simple and a happy man. He has an amazing family, he knows how to handle his stardom. When we were working for ‘Veeram’, Ajith sir would patiently listen and was always open to what Siva sir would say before a scene. If I want to be like a star, it would be Ajith sir.”
