The hand position forming a yogic symbol made popular by Rajinikanth as the Baba muthirai may be under legal scrutiny by a startup company in Mumbai.

Called VoxWeb, the social networking startup has claimed that the muthirai is similar to their own logo, and if adopted as the symbol of a party, would be infringing on its own trademark.

“People are already asking us if we are favouring Rajnikanth's outfit or if we have any common investors," Voxweb founder Yash Mishra said. Reportedly, the startup has written to the actor over the issue.
