The first song from Maanadu, Meherezylaa, has gone viral with the enchanting voice of Yuvan and Bhavatharini. The film stars Simbu, SJ Suryah, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Premji and YG Mahendran in the lead roles. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, the film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Richard M. Nathan.
