Day by day, the country is worsening due to the increasing number of positive cases of Coronavirus. While several of them are trying to come out of it, some of them have succumbed to this deadly virus.
Now, it is learnt that popular producer Salem Chandrasekharan, who has bankrolled films like Ghajini, Sabari, February 14 and Sullan, breathed his last on May 10. He is said to have succumbed to COVID-19.
Before venturing into film production, Salem Chandrasekharan was a cinema distributor and a theatre owner. He owned a multiplex named ARK complex, which had three screens.
His last production venture was Bharath-Meera Chopra starrer Killadi. The film had hit the theatres in 2015. We, at Behindwoods, express our heartfelt condolences to the bereaving family!
