The multi-faceted, versatile actor Suriya is currently awaiting the release of his 'Soorarai Pottru' by Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame. Aparna Balamurali is the female lead, while Vivek Prasanna and Paresh Rawal play principal roles.
Soorarai Pottru is produced by Suriya's home banner, 2D Entertainment, in association with Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment. The film's teaser and first single, Maara theme, have garnered a massive response among netizens.
The makers had enthralled the fans with the update on the second single to be released from the film, titled ''Veyyonsilli', the song is crooned by Harish Sivaramakrishnan while lyricist Vivek has penned the lyrics for the song. With cinematography by Niketh Bommi, Soorarai Pottru is reportedly inspired by the life of GR Gopinath, founder of India's first low-cost aviation company Air Deccan.
