Vikram Prabhu’s new movie, titled Neruppu Da directed by debutant Ashok Kumar had it’s audio launched today (10th April) at Annai Illam, Chennai.
Superstar Rajinikanth who was present there addressed the gathering and shared his thoughts on numerous topics that include his memories at the Annai Illam. Superstar said, “My first memory at this Annai Illam was during Naan Vazhavaippen in 1978, when I acted alongside Sivaji Ganesan. The second one was during Annamalai when I had Sivaji Ganesan himself in my mind while doing the movie. He was my inspiration while shooting for the film. Prabhu, who is Sivaji’s son, might be lucky but he has a huge responsibility of fostering the legacy created by his dad. In fact, though Vikram Prabhu is a star kid, I have seen his struggle and heard of his meticulous hard work during Kumki.”
Also, about the review writers, Superstar Rajinikanth said, “There is a way of communication while reviewing. It is not wrong to review a film honestly, but it should be done without hurting anyone’s feelings".
About Vishal and the current scenario in Tamil cinema, he said, "Hats off to Vishal for his work so far and I have immense belief in his potential. Everyone should benefit from a movie and there should not be a sole winner with others losing out. When producers do some stunts and marketing to sell their film, distributors and theatre owners should think and decide before buying it. After buying it, there is no point in regretting about the product.”
He also signed off by wishing Vikram Prabhu and the Neruppu Da team best of luck for a successful run in theatres very soon.
