Superstar Rajinikanth is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Annaatthe that is all set to hit the big screens on November 4th as Diwali treat for the fans! And with just one more week to go for the film, the audiences have been eager to catch any fresh updates about the film.
Just yesterday on October 27th, the makers had released the trailer of the film which indeed showcased a colourful and vibrant plot that is being unfolded. Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing the role of the Superstar’s sister in the film.
Apart from Rajinikanth and Keerthy Suresh, the film also features Khushbu, Meena, Nayanthara, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. The Superstar took to his social media and shared that he recently watched the film at a private screening in Chennai along with his wife Latha, daughters Soundarya and Aishwarya, his grandson Ved Krishna, Vishagan, Vanangamudi and Usha Vanangamudi. He also mentioned that Dhanush’s sons - Yathra and Lingaa could not watch the film as they had accompanied with their father to Kodaikanal.
Sharing two voice notes regarding the screening on Hoote, a voice-based social media platform launched by Soundarya, he spoke about how his grandson Ved loved the film. He said, “Ved wanted to sit next to me and catch the show. This is the first film of mine he is watching. After the screening, he gave me a tight hug for four minutes and said 'I am happy Thathu'. He calls me Thathu when he is happy. This is in fact the first time we all watched a show together. It made me very happy. I thanked Ved and came out of the theatre. To my surprise, I saw Kalanithi Maaran waiting outside and he received me with a smile. Despite his busy schedule, he made it a point to be there, which was indeed overwhelming."
