Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali, directed by Pa.Ranjith was one of the important films of last year, which was produced by Kalaippuli S.Thanu.
 

The film's satellite rights have now been bought by Sun Network, who is on a roll, after buying the rights of all recent biggies including Vivegam, Theri, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, Si 3, Sivakarthikeyan - Ponram project, Spyder and others.

Meanwhile, they have also snapped the telecast rights of Vijay Sethupathi's Karuppan, which is all set to release tomorrow (29th September).
