One of the biggest and much-awaited films of this year is Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film is slated for a Diwali release and the fans are thrilled.

We had reported yesterday that the speculated date for Sarkar's audio launch is October 2 and that the team is prepping for a mega event. Now, Sun Pictures, the producers of the film have come out with an important update! 

Their announcement came via a tweet, and this is what it said; "An important announcement about #Sarkar will be made this evening. Get ready!"

This message from the team brings us to wonder if this would be the official announcement for the release date of Sarkar's music or a surprise. Well, it could also be the announcement for the teaser/trailer release.
