Mufti was a popular Kannada movie released in 2017 - directed by Narthan. Featuring Prakash Belawadi, Shanvi Srivastava, Shivarajkumar in the lead roles, the film focussed on the story of an undercover cop. The movie was all set to be remade in Tamil.
Suriya's blockbuster movie Jillunu Oru Kaadhal fame Krishna had taken up the project which has been titled as ‘Pathu Thala’ featuring STR and Gautham Karthik in the leads. The film will be bankrolled by K.E.Gnanvelraja under the banner of Studio Green.
It was recently revealed that the young actress Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen in a prominent role and post that popular actor Teejay who made his Kollywood debut with Dhanush’s Asuran was also welcomed.
