The massive announcement of Mani Ratnam's next Chekka Chivantha Vaanam came a few months ago and took social media by storm. He was getting back to multi-starrers with a huge ensemble that includes the likes of Arvind Swami, STR, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Diana Erappa.
For the past 4 days, the team has been revealing the character names of the four lead heroes. Arvind Swami as Varadan was first, then Arun Vijay as Thyagu, followed by Vijay Sethupathi as Rasool. Now, it has been officially revealed that STR's name in the film is Ethi alias Ethiraj along with his first look.
