A.R.Murugadoss is currently busy filming the much anticipated Thalapathy 62, with Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, and others, with music by A.R.Rahman, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
In a recent exclusive interview with Sreekar, Behindwoods asked about the start of Thalapathy 62 project, and what can the audience expect from the film. He said, "Obviously, Murugadoss' films have always had a social message, dealing with a common man's problem, which will connect well with the audience. This time also, he will be trying something like that, with a big star (Vijay). All these will integrate well, and come out as a proper commercial entertaining film with a strong message.
I like Murugadoss especially because he doesn't make commercial films just for glorifying a big star. He sees that star, as a character in his film, and there's a certain level of importance given to the story. His screenplay is gripping, and after watching an ARM film, you take back something to your home. That has been my experience with him, working in the last 3-4 films."
