Superstar Rajinikanth will be next seen in the much-talked about film, Darbar, which also features Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar and others in the lead roles. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, the film is produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.
Darbar has all the blockbuster elements such as Anirudh Ravichander as the music director for the film, Santhosh Sivan as the cinematographer for Rajinikanth after Thalapathi (1991), and the cuts of the movie will be handled by Sreekar Prasad. Above all, the only name of Superstar is enough. Adding more flavour to it is this legendary singer’s involvement.
As reported earlier, the one and only veteran singer, SP Balasubrahmanyam who is considered as a lucky charm for Rajinikanth’s most of the songs, will be crooning an intro song for the Superstar in Darbar this time too. While everyone is anxiously waiting to get any updates of the film, here’s an interesting update by the legend himself!
In a recent event, SPB said that this intro song happens in a situation where people appreciates Rajini who plays a cop in the film. Thalaivar would then tell people that he is also an ordinary man who needs no special appreciation and did his duty actually, he further says that if he removes his Khaki uniform, he is one among the commoners and starts singing the song. Thanking Anirudh, the production team and Superstar, he has said that the song has really come out well. Well, we have to wait and check out the magic!
