Actor Karikalan, who was seen as a terrorizing villain in director Kasthuri Raja's Solaiyamma, went on to act in more than 70 films in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada industries. He is also known for his films like Ramana, Aravaan, Adimai Sangili, etc. Karikalan was out of the action for the past few years, as he had to concentrate on his real estate business.
 

Now, he has got back into the film industry, now as a producer. Through his official statement, Karikalan says that his production house will deliver films that are high on family values and human relationships, with a quality content. An official announcement on his next film, as a producer is expected to be out soon.
