Veteran politician, writer and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) President, Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi is admitted at the Kauvery Hospital in Chennai, where he is being treated by medical officials. We already saw many leading politicians and social activists coming to enquire about Karunanidhi's health.
Following this, actor Suriya has now visited the hospital to see Karunanidhi. Along with Suriya, his father Sivakumar, and friend, Rajasekar Pandian of 2D Entertainment were also seen outside the hospital.

Lyricist Vivek has been on a dream run since 36 Vayadhinile that had Santhosh Narayanan composing the music. It had Jyothika in the lead and was produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment. Then on, he has signed huge films like Mersal, Remo, Sarkar etc., Vivek has now been signed by 2D Entertainment for Suriya's 38th film that will be produced by the same company and directed by Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame.
