Marina, directed by Pandiraj released in 2012 was the launchpad that served as the debut for two famous actors of Kollywood - Sivakarthikeyan and Oviya. Actor Thennarasu, who had done a notable role in the movie, has now passed away by suicide.
Thennarasu, residing at Mylapore, Chennai had committed suicide by hanging himself. The reason for the same is said to be family dispute. The family is bereaved and fans are in shock due to the young actor's untimely demise.
He is survived by his wife and his child. Police are touted to have started investigation into the issue. More details are awaited.
