Sivaangi who started her career as a singer got popular as a comedienne, courtesy the reality show 'Cooku with Comali' that aired on Vijay TV. Her romantic antics with Ashwin and sisterly affection towards Pugazh made fans root for her a lot.
The show's popularity also lead to her picking up opportunities on the big screen – she is part of Sivakarthikeyan's 'Don' and Udhayanidhi's Tamil remake of 'Article 15' directed by Arunraja Kamaraj. It is also said that she is in talks for a few more movies.
Sivaangi is today celebrating her birthday and Sivakarthikeyan has sent her a birthday cake. She seems visibly excited about the star's gesture.
