U Turn is an upcoming thriller that has Samantha in the lead role along with Aadhi, Naren, Bhumika Chawla and Rahul Ravindran. The film is directed by Pawan Kumar, is a remake of the 2016 Kannada film of the same name. That too, was directed by Pawan. The film is produced by Srinivasa Chittori and Rambabu Bandaru.

The team had conducted a press meet to talk about the film and the event was graced by the director of films like Veeram, Vivegam, Vedalam and Viswasam - Siruthai Siva. Speaking at the meet, he said: 

“I feel this occasion to be so special as I share a wonderful relationship with producer Chittori as he supported me a lot during my crucial days in Telugu industry. Especially to see a phenomenally great filmmaker like Pawan Kumar, it’s so much exhilarating. I'm sure this film will be received well by everyone.”

Siruthai Siva is currently working on his next film with Ajith Kumar, titled Viswasam. It is produced by Sathya Jyothi films.
