Renowned singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi got engaged to popular mimicry artist Anoop N, on September 10. Anoop is said to be a good friend for Vijayalakshmi's family for quite sometime, and the talented singer gave her consent to get married to him, when approached.
 

The wedding will take place on October 22, at Vaikom Mahadeva Temple in a traditional manner. Apart from being a mimicry artist, Anoop is also an interior designer by profession.

Vijayalakshmi rose to fame with songs such as 'Kodaiyila' (Cuckoo), 'Idharkkuthanae Aasaipattai' (Romeo Juliet), 'Kaikkottum Kandittilla' (Oru Vadakkan Selfie), 'Siva Sivaya Potri' (Baahubali), and a lot more. Vijayalakshmi has sung for a lot of music directors including M.M.Keeravani, Yuvan Shankar Raja, D Imman, G.V.Prakash Kumar, Santhosh Narayanan, Gopi Sundar, Shaan Rahman, and others.
