Actor Simbu took a massive crowd by storm by attending a college event recently in which the actor's speech set the stage and the crowd on fire. With the crowd roaring continuously after his entry, Simbu spoke about his upcoming comeback film Maanaadu and his recent struggles with the gap in his films.
Simbu promised the massive crowd that he is here to stay and that with Maanadu, he will be doing films continuously next. He thanked his fans for their never-dying support despite his recent long pauses. Simbu curiously asked his fans "Why do you all like me?" and explained the reason for his questioning. "The media, the industry, and everyone say that I'm not the best bet, why do you all still like me?" he asked.
With the overflowing responses from the crowd being consistent, the actor requested his fans to tell everyone that they hate him. "Because of this support of yours, I'm getting into trouble. They (probably his haters?) get aggravated seeing this support from you all and take it on me," he said. Shortly after, he took a selfie with his massive fans who were gathered.
On the film front, he is currently engaged in Venkat Prabhu's Maanadu that co-stars Kalyani Priyadarshan of 'Hero' fame. Suresh Kamatchi is bankrolling this project which will have music by Yuvan.
