Actor Simbu was last seen in Sundar C's Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, that had Megha Akash, Catherine Tresa, Prabhu, Nasser, Ramya Krishnan and others in crucial roles. The film was directed by Sundar C and produced by Lyca Productions. It is the official Tamil remake of the Telugu film Attarintiki Daredi.
Following this, he has projects like Venkat Prabhu's Maanadu in the pipeline. Now, he will be seen in Hansika's 50th film, Maha. Sources close to us have revealed that he has given a call sheet of 7 days, and will appear in a song in the film.
The film will be directed by debutant U.R.Jameel, an erstwhile associate of director Lakshman. Jameel has worked in films like Romeo Juliet and Bogan as an assistant director and now Maha will be his directorial debut.
