After facing a minor setback after the controversies surrounding Adhik Ravichandran's AAA, STR seems to have gotten back on track.

While awaiting the release of his next, Mani Ratnam's CCV, STR has flown to Georgia along with Sundar C and team to shoot for their upcoming film produced by Lyca Productions.

This film, which is speculated to be the Tamil remake of the Telugu blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi, is now progressing at a brisk pace.

News has just come in that the film's first song shoot has been successfully completed. This one, which is said to be the introductory song for STR is composed by Hiphop Tamizha.

Speculations also suggest that the team will be completing the whole foreign schedule in 15 days, before returning for the rest of the portions. The movie can be expected to hit the screens in early 2019!

The CCV craze is currently on and the promotions are happening in full swing. A lot of expectations have been mounted on the film and especially because it could turn out to be a big come back for STR. 

The VTV actor has landed an exciting role in this Mani Ratnam directorial and he also has a big line up for interesting films that will begin one after another. 

One in that list is his next film with director Sundar C. This Lyca production is said to be the Tamil remake of the Telugu superhit film Attarintiki Daredi that had Pawan Kalyan in the lead.
