Director Shankar is known for his hit films with top heroes like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vikram and others. Gentleman, Anniyan, Robot, Sivaji, Indian, etc, were runaway hits. He most recently announced Anniyan’s Hindi remake with Ranveer Singh in the lead.
