One of the most expected releases in 2018 is director Shankar's magnum opus 2.0 with Superstar Rajinikanth. The film has been made on a massive scale and will be releasing on November 29.
Produced by Lyca Productions, the film has music by AR Rahman and also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles alongside Rajini.
We saw in the trailer that the VFX has been made very convincingly and it was widely appreciated to be of Hollywood standards.
In a recent interview, director Shankar opened up about various aspects of 2.0 and in particular, the VFX. Speaking about the budget and the usage, he said, "Almost 1/3rd of the film's budget was used for the VFX and we have about 2100 VFX shots in the film."
This is the most by any Indian film and 2.0 is also said to be the costliest Indian film ever.
