According to reports, over 50 people, including four children, have died in a tragic bus accident in Telangana yesterday, September 11th.

Apparently, a corporation bus carrying about 80 passengers skidded off the ghat road and fell into the valley which eventually caused the death of over 50 people. All the passengers were pilgrims returning from Kodangattu, the hill shrine of Anjaneya Swamy. Over 30 people have been admitted to a nearby hospital out of which 6 people are said to be critical.

It sure is one of the worst accidents in the recent past. Director Shankar took to his Twitter space to share his grief regarding this incident, "I am deeply saddened to know about the loss of 57 lives in a bus accident in Telengana. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families."
