Shane Nigam's talent is boundless. Therefore, it comes across as no surprise that, not just Malayalam, people from other industries also scout for him and make him routine offers.
In an old interview, the actor revealed that he was offered the role of a Malayali student in Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari's Chhichhore but turned it down to play the third brother in Kumbalangi Nights instead. Had he accepted the role, it would have meant that he would have rubbed shoulders with the late Sushant Singh Rajput! Chhichhore remains Rajput's last released theatrical venture (September 6, 2019).
Kumbalangi Nights went on to achieve critical acclaim. Post KN, Shane was seen in films such as Ishq, Oolu, Valiyaperunnal. His upcoming project is Ullasam.
