After finding her big break from Nenjukulla (Kadal), Shakthishree has become a household name in the Tamil playback singing circuit.
She has lent her voice for hit songs of AR Rahman, Anirudh, Santhosh Narayanan, and many other contemporary music composers.
Now, after rendering two songs in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Shakthi is on cloud 9. In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, she performs her songs live.

Only two songs from Chekka Chivantha Vaanam has been released thus far and now the makers have finally announced the release date of the 3rd track 'Sevandhu Pochu Nenju.' The team is planning to unveil this number tomorrow, the 15th of September.
This song composed by AR Rahman is sung by Jonita Gandhi. She had performed this song at the audio launch which took place a few days back. We will have to wait and see if Mani Ratnam has more songs for us to get enthralled.
