It was earlier reported that Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the lead in astronaut Rakesh Sharma's biopic directed by Mahesh Mathai and produced by Ronnie Screwwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, titled 'Salute'.
 

While there is been abuzz about who will be playing the female lead in the film sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan. Now, reports suggest that Kareena Kapoor has been approached in business to play the role of Rakesh Sharma's wife, Madhu.
 

Looks like the actress will be collaborating with the star once again post Ra.one where their chemistry on screen was explicitly appreciated by the audience. Although there is no official confirmation from the team, lets hope for one very soon!
