ACTORS STEP IN AGAINST A DIRTY PRACTICE

Manual scavenging is something that India is trying to get rid of. In an attempt to eliminate this practice, a social organization called Jai Bhim Mandram has launched a campaign involving a few film celebrities like Sathyaraj, Vivekh, Karu Palaniappan, Ram and others speaking against this.

In one of such efforts, Sathyaraj speaks against manual scavenging in a video wherein he says, “While foreign countries have gotten rid of this, we are still continuing. It is important that we completely eliminate this practice”.
