Known for delivering successful rural entertainers such as Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan, director Ponram is currently busy with the proceedings of his forthcoming film 'MGR Magan'. Starring Sasikumar, Mirnalini Ravi, Samuthirakani in central roles.
Apart from the leads, MGR Magan also features Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Singampuli in important roles. The rural flick is produced by Screen Scene Entertainment, who had earlier bankrolled the Vishal starrer Ayogya.
Recently, the makers officially released the title look of the film, with an announcement stating that the venture is gearing up for a Pongal release next year. The film is set to compete with the likes of Superstar Rajinikanth's Darbar and the Prabhu Deva-starrer Pon Manickavel in Tamil.
With MGR Magan, chartbusting singer Anthony Dasan will be composing music for the film while Vinoth Rathinasamy and Vivek Harshan handle the cinematography and editing departments respectively.
