The director has helmed several successful films with Sivakarthikeyan as lead, such as Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan, thereby catapulting the actor to the big league.

Now, we have learned that the satellite and digital rights of the movie have been acquired by popular television channel Vijay TV. Last seen on-screen in Dhanush's ENPT, Sasikumar is also engaged in 'Rajavamsam'.
Rajavamsam is directed by KV Kathirvelu, a former associate of Sundar C. The film stars Nikki Galrani as the female lead.
