Rio Raj is one of the most popular VJ turned serial actors. He plays the lead role in Saravanan Meenakshi, a renowned daily television soap opera. During a recent interaction with Behindwoods, Rio recollected an incident, where many fake profiles misused his name and gave false promises to budding actors.

He said, "There is a guy called Frank, who recently called me over the phone. It was a conference call and there were two other girls in the call. At that time, Frank told me that I was talking to these girls regularly, promising them to get a chance to act. I didn't talk to them and I didn't promise anything.

So, I was shocked. I was like, when did I even talk to them. The interesting part here is, one of those girls is my friend, who worked with me earlier. I told her that she could have called me over the phone, and in a minute's time, the confusion would have been cleared. There are many fake profiles over social media and all these people easily trick others. They can use these tricks for some other useful purposes."
