A Venkatesh who is known for his commercial potboilers like Vijay's Bhagavathi, Dum, Aai will be beginning his next project Pamban starring Sarathkumar in the lead. Venkatesh-Sarathkumar combo has proved successful in the past.

Pamban will have music scored by Srikanth Deva and the first look posters of the film were released today, January 31. The film officially kickstarted today with a song composition session with Srikanth Deva.
