Earlier, it was reported that actor Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer and that he would fly to the United States for treatment.
Now, a new report by Filmfare has it that it’s not Stage 3 but Stage 4 lung cancer. This has made several fans worried.
“Fluid had accumulated in his lungs because of that he was having breathing trouble.” The source also added that fluid samples were sent for testing, “Doctors said it could be tuberculosis or cancer. The reports on Wednesday confirmed that Sanjay is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer,” hospital sources have been quoted as saying.
Earlier, the actor had taken to Twitter and wrote, “"Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!" (sic)
Sanjay Dutt’s diagnosis comes at a time when he’s stepping into the Southern film industry with KGF 2 that stars Yash in the lead. Sadak 2, one of his projects is due on Disney-Hotstar soon.
