Sanghavi, who has shared screen space with both Thala and Thalapathy during the 90s, in films like Amaravathi, Rasigan, Vishnu, Coimbatore Maappillai, and Nilaave Va, is back to Kollywood after a break with the movie Kolanji.
During an exclusive chat with Behindwoods, when asked about her working experience with Vijay, she said, "We both starred together in Rasigan, which was my third film in Tamil, and his third film too. So, at that point of time, Rasigan was our solo hit film that ran for more than 175 days. In the shooting spot, I used to practice my dialogues in Tamil and he would help me with my dialogue pronunciations. He has been a very good friend.
Not just today, even on those days, he was a very silent person. He rarely talked to people. But since we had done few films before, during the shoot of Vishnu, Coimbatore Maapillai, he used to talk well with me, and everyone in the unit was like, 'how come Vijay is talking to you?' Only when you work few films together, you attain that comfort level.
I used to troll him like, 'Will you talk only with AC, wall or fan in front of you. You wouldn't put a chair in front of someone and interact with them?'. Even when I asked him that, he used to smile and remain silent. But, when he is with his close circle of people, he is a different person totally. He will be so much fun. I am very happy to see him grow this much. It feels good."
