Actor Rajinikanth mesmerized the audience by bringing back the ‘Vintage Thalaivar’ in his latest film Petta. The film has a huge star cast of Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sananth, Simran and Trisha, Sasikumar and Megha Akash.
In an exclusive interview to Behindwoods, Actor Sananth shared about his experience on working in this film and revealed some interesting and exciting incidents from the shooting spot.
When asked about his experience on dancing with Rajinikanth in the song Ullala, Sananth replied saying “I was very excited and nervous to perform in front of Thalaivar. Before the scene, I was rehearsing the dance moves, and the truth is, I’m not very good at dancing. I was doing the steps awkwardly, trying to focus and then, Rajini sir walked up to me and said ‘Neengalum nambla maari dhana?’ (So you’re like me too?). I didn’t know what to answer, and just smiled sheepishly.”
Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, which released on 10th January, is having a good run at the box office with positive response from the audience and good word of mouth. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and Tirru has handled the camera.
