Superstar Rajinikanth's latest film Petta hit the screens on 10th January. It has been doing well at the box office, with shows running housefull everywhere. The reviews have also been quite positive. The film also had Simran, Trisha, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others doing crucial roles.
Actor Sananth, who has worked with Karthik Subbaraj in Mercury, has played an important role in Petta. Speaking exclusively to Behindwoods, he spoke about working on the set with Rajini and his association with Karthik.
In one of the segments, he revealed that he had an interest in directing. "I sent my first script to Karthik anna and asked him to read it. He called me and asked me if this was my first ever script. I said yes, and he asked me not to do it. I wanted to know the reason, for which he replied It's so bad. That was the first and last time I ever wrote a script. "
