Amala Paul is currently working on a horror thriller Adho Andha Paravai Pola set against the backdrop of the Western Ghats. She plays a young woman lost in a jungle.
The film is directed by a debutant named KR Vinoth and has the story penned by Arun Rajagopalan.
Popular Television anchor Samir Kochhar who is known for hosting pre-match shows of IPL cricket tournament will be making his Tamil debut as an actor with Adho Andha Paravai Pola. It must be noted that Samir has previously been part of several blockbuster Hindi films including Jannat and Housefull 3.

Bhaskar Oru Rascal featuring Arvind Swami and Amala Paul which was supposed to hit the screens today, May 11 has been postponed due to some undisclosed reasons. Amala Paul is disappointed to see the film being postponed yet again. She took to her Twitter space to share her thoughts:
"After watching the preview show of Bhaskar Oru Rascal yesterday, I imagined 11th may to be a delight!! But who knew, it’ll be a mayday for all the people who were a part of the movie. It is stalled for reasons, still unclear and unusual, at the last minute of release!!
I wish viewers get to see this piece of family entertainment sooner than later. Hoping for a better May for all. Peace ✌ I would also like to wish congrats and super success to the other films that are out today!! ✌️"
