Samantha, who is currently one of the most bankable and popular stars across the south Indian film industry, is all set to head to Bollywood following the success with web series 'Family Man season 2' which released a few months back. The actress played the antagonist in the series and gained tremendous fame and name for her performance.

Reports suggest that Samantha has already signed her first Hindi language film and will soon be making an official announcement. We hear that she has been approached to play the leading lady in a Bollywood film that will be bankrolled by none other than actress Taapsee Pannu, who recently launched her own production house ‘Outsiders Films’. The project is said to be in a female-centric thriller film.

Recently, the actress signed a project with Dream Warrior Pictures and the announcement was made by Producer SR Prabhu. The project which is tentatively titled 'Production No 30' for now, is being directed by Shantharuban Gnanasekaran. The movie is being made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. The details regarding the cast and crew are yet to be announced by the makers.

Meanwhile, Samantha has wrapped up her Telugu biggie 'Shaakuntalam' directed by Gunasekhar. The movie has Dev Mohan, Aditi Balan and Allu Arha playing pivotal roles. She also has her upcoming Tamil film 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' - directed by Vignesh Shivan that stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in lead roles - awaiting release in the big screens soon.
