Two weeks ago, we saw the release of Karthi's Kadaikutty Singam which was produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment. The film was a great success at the box office with family audiences assuring good occupancy in theaters even during the weekdays.
Sakthivelan of Sakthi Film Factory was the distributor for this film in Tamil Nadu and it seems to have been a profitable venture for him. Now, they have made the announcement on their next big distribution in Tamil Nadu.
They have acquired the TN rights of Vijay Devarakonda's upcoming release, Geetha Govindam, which also has Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. The film already has expectations on its back after the song Inkem Inkem struck the right chord among listeners all over!

Vijay Devarakonda quickly rose to fame after his film Arjun Reddy, in which he played the titular character, became a blockbuster and garnered a lot of love from youngsters.
Now, he has begun yet another film in which he is said to be playing a college student. The film titled Dear Comrade is helmed by debutant Bharath Kamma and will have Rashmika Mandanna playing Vijay's love interest.
This is the second time Vijay is paired with Rashmika after Geetha Govindham (which is yet to release).
