''YOU ARE A STAR, BORN ON SOIL, NOT IN THE SKY''

"Ni vinnil viranja thaaramalla, mannil virinja thaaramaada"- this was actor/director/super screenwriter Renji Panicker's reaction after seeing Tovino Thomas shoot a 3-minute long Gusthi sequence for their latest film "Godha." The words mean "You are a star, born on soil, not in the sky." Renji Panicker, the firebrand writer who penned many iconic characters in Malayalam cinema, was truly impressed with Tovino's dedication.

The scene was a 3-minute long single-shot sequence, and it took more than six takes to get the best shot. Unfortunately, the shot was replaced by trimmed version in the movie. Director Basil Joseph and Tovino said that they are planning to release the uncut version of the stunt that made a veteran like Renji Panicker go all praises on YouTube, soon.
