Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy with the filming of the Ayan Mukherjee directorial Brahmastra, a big-budget epic starring Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan in central roles. Karan Johar is bankrolling the film under the banner Dharma Productions.
Meanwhile, an official announcement has released regarding the details of his next project. The actor is set to team up with director Luv Ranjan, known for delivering hits such as the 'Pyaar Ka Punchanama' series and the bromance Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
The director's recent release, De De Pyaar De, starred Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu in central roles. Ranbir Kapoor will be paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the film. Apart from helming, Luv Ranjan will also be co-producing the film along with Ankur Garg.
The said film is set to release on March 26, 2021, after the release of Brahmastra, which was supposed to release on Christmas this year, but was postponed due to various reasons. Ranbir Kapoor will also be playing the lead in Karan Malhotra's Shamshera, which stars Vaani Kapoor as female lead.
