Director Ram's all three directorial films, Kattradhu Tamizh, Thangameengal, and Taramani, have received critical acclaim, and now he has already started getting accolades for his fourth outing, Peranbu, starring Mammootty, Anjali, and Thangameengal fame Baby Sadhana in lead roles.
 

The film has now been recognized by Rotterdam (Netherlands) International Film Festival and will have its first ever premiere. The screening will happen on January 27, at 4 pm, after which the makers have also planned to send it to two more other International festivals. Director Ram, announced on his social blogging page, that, after completing all these festival screenings, the film will have its theatrical release in Summer 2018.
