Telugu superstar Ram Charan has entertained many with his all-round performances in films such as Rangasthalam, Magadheera, Yevadu to name a few. The actor is currently playing one of the leads in SS Rajamouli's RRR along with NTR Jr.
Recently, the actor received the Behindwoods Gold Medal- People's Entertainer Par Excellence- Telugu' for his consistently entertaining films in Telugu cinema. The medal was awarded to him by director Shankar. In his acceptance speech, Ram Charan said "I was born and brought up in Chennai. Returning to the city to receive this award is special for me."
During the speech Ram Charan dedicated the award to late. Mohammad Noor, his hardcore fan and one of the oldest presidents of the actor's fan club association, who passed away on that day (December 8, 2019) "It is a sad day, but I feel he gave me this award. The fans made us and I want to dedicate this award to Noor Mohammad ji."
When Ram Charan was asked to perform a few steps, the actor obliged, but, with a condition "I will dance if Sivakarthikeyan agrees to dance with me." The friendly request was accepted by Sivakarthikeyan and the duo shook a leg to 'Local Boys' song from the 2013 film Edhirneechal, which was written and sung by Dhanush with Anirudh's composition.
