Ram Charan Teja is one of the most generous stars in the Indian film industry right now. He has always come front and stood for the people of the nation in times of crisis.

In the recent floods at Kerala, the Rangasthalam actor donated Rs. 25 Lakh for the relief funds. Now, Telengana and Andhra have been hit by a cyclone, especially the places like Srikakulam, and Vijayanagaram.

He has now adopted a village and will help the people get back to normalcy. In a statement posted on his Twitter feed, he said:

"During his tour of the cyclone hit regions of Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram, Kalyan Babai suggested that I adopt one of the affected villages.

I'm glad that Babai came up with this idea and it makes me extremely happy and privileged that I'm in a position to contribute and make a difference. I've decided to implement Babai's suggestion and have already discussed it with my team to initiate the process.

My team would identify the areas which would benefit with my contribution and I shall make an announcement regarding the same very soon."
