Dulquer Salmaan has captured the audience's attention with his Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal that also features Ritu Varma in the lead role. The film released on 28th February and it has been receiving a warm reception from the audience and the critics.
Written and directed by Desingh Periyasamy, the film is bankrolled by Anto Joseph and Francis Kannookadan. The film also features director Gautham Menon, Niranjani Ahathian and Rakshan in important roles.

VJ Rakshan debuted in Silver Screen with this film, and it is known that leading hero Sivakarthikeyan also started as a supporting actor in Dhanush's 3. When Rakshan was asked if he will have the same luck, Rakshan replied "I'm not sure about that, but many actors who have played small roles with Dulquer have become heroes in Malayalam now" which put a smile on everyone's face.
