Rajiv Menon, who donned the director’s hat for Ajith’s Kandukonden Kandukonden in 2000, is back with his next with GV Prakash Kumar. Titled ‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’, the movie is about the life of a person aspiring to become a musician.

In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, he said that the team wanted to shoot in exotic locations for the track song. “I was keen in shooting it in remote and unexplored places. We zeroed in on 5 states which had unexplored places and percussions. The entire song was shot in a span of 10 days which was a very hectic schedule since we travelled to 5 states continuously.”

He also said that they travelled to 5 states within 10 days to shoot this song. “We started from Chennai to Guwhati and it took us 4-5 hours to go to the location from Guwhati. And from there we took off to Srinagar via Delhi where we shot at the picturesque Snow-cladded mountains .We further shot in Jodhpur’s desert lands and in Meghalaya, and ended the trip in Kerala.” He further mentioned that the schedule was very hectic for them, but it’ll be worth it when audience witness the music in the theatre. “It will be a new experience for the audience to hear the music in theatres”, he said.

Sarvam Thaala Mayam stars GV Prakash, Aparna Balamurali, Nedumudi Venu and Vineeth in crucial roles, and has music by A.R.Rahman. The movie will hit the screens on February 1st.
